Welcome!

Make yourself at home :)

Giordana (pronounced “Jor-dah-nuh”) Simurdiak is a NYC-based actress and singer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Despite being a huge introvert, she braved her first acting class at 11, cried when the teacher asked her to make a noise, but continued to show up to class week after week, embracing a great love of performing which will lead to her upcoming graduation as a Performance major and Music minor from Fordham University in 2024.

She is passionate about fostering new works in addition to exploring older shows and why they continue to revive and relate to contemporary society. She views art as a unifying force, and strives to build community in all her creative endeavors. While she does not dare to proclaim herself a dancer (although Tap is certainly an exception), Giordana loves to move and incorporate movement into her artistic process. While at Fordham, she’s gotten the opportunity to explore heightened texts with movement (thank you, Lorca!) and has worked on various new works by both student and professional playwrights.

Outside of performing, she enjoys fawning over dogs on the street and a variety of crafts, including crochet, quilting, sewing, costume design, upcycling, and drawing.
